Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, as recorded in both Matthew and Luke.
Matthew 2:1 states, "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea..." and Luke 2 describes Joseph and Mary traveling to Bethlehem for a census, where Jesus was born and laid in a manger.
This also connects to the prophecy of Micah 5:2, which names Bethlehem as the place from which a ruler would come.
